I’m packing winter into a crate and pretending it’s spring.
I spent some time today sweeping and cleaning out the garage/studio. It was 34 F. It was a COOL spring day. Spring. Spring. SPRING!
After cleaning up a little, I dragged the old packing case out and Belle agreed to be a (paid) model. Window light – small garage window facing west — probably gained 2/3 stop of light once I’d cleaned it — and two reflectors camera left. More and more, I favor Rembrandt-style lighting. Also, using my light meter, which I got for Christmas and have used so little, I must consult the manual: Oh, THAT’S the power button. Cool!
